The Missouri Gaming Commission is tasked with regulating charitable bingo games in Missouri. This year the Missouri Legislature approved an amendment which would change the requirements for volunteers to work a bingo game. Currently you must have two years with the qualified organization before you volunteer to work a bingo game. The newly signed legislation by Governor Greitens changes this to six months. Because this changes the state constitution, the issue must come before a vote of the people which will be held in November of this year. No changes will be made until the issue is voted upon.
