Kansas City’s casino market has closed the books on another record fiscal year. Pre-tax gross gambling revenues for longtime market leader Ameristar Kansas City Casino and Hotel were down 1 percent for the state’s budget year ending June 30, to $256.5 million.

Topping the list: Harrah’s Maryland Heights at 325.2 million dollars; Ameristar St. Charles at 300.2 million dollars.
During 2007, admissions to Kansas City area riverboat casinos totaled 23.5 million patrons.
