The Isle of Capri Kansas City has spent $10,000 dollars on a smoke-free slots zone. According to the Kansas City Business Journal, customers asked for the area…which is about 5% of the floor space in the casino.
The area has been enclosed with walls and an "air curtain" which keeps air flowing at the entrance to prevent smoke from entering the room. The former "poker room" is about 2,000 square feet, and houses 50 slot machines.
