The Missouri Gaming Commission has commissioned a study to be conducted by the University of Missouri St.Louis, through the University’s Center for Forensic Economics and Law, and the Labor and Education Market Analysis units. This study, includes a telephone survey questionnaire of approximately 60 questions. The survey will focus on a sample size of 2500 Missouri residents. The St.Louis and Kansas City areas will receive particular attention, with the balance of the sample size being distributed to assure representation and diversity of all Missouri Citizens.
Why a study?
It is critical the MGC remain informed on topics that will have an affect on the future of gaming in Missouri. The Commission must also remain knowledgeable on topics like market saturation, new markets and market trends, as well as possible changes to gaming law and how these laws affect the state’s 7th largest industry. A public report will be available early next year.
