Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. has named James Perry chairman following the death of the company’s founder and former chairman, Bernard Goldstein, in July.
Perry joined Isle of Capri Casinos as vice chairman in 2007 before
being named chief executive and executive vice chairman in March 2008.
The company also said that Richard Goldstein, son of the late
Bernard Goldstein, plans to stand for election to the board of
directors at the annual shareholders meeting in October.
Richard Goldstein is president of Alter Energy.
Creve Coeur-based Isle of Capri Casinos (Nasdaq: ISLE) owns and
operates riverboat, dockside and land-based casinos at 18 locations in
Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Colorado, Iowa and Florida.
