Missouri Gaming Commission Renders Decision on President Casino
August 26, 2009, Jefferson City- The Missouri Gaming Commission has passed a resolution stating that on July 19, 2010 the life expectancy of
the vessel known as the Admiral, on which exists the President casino, will
expire and will no longer be certified
beyond that date. The resolution further determined Pinnacle
Entertainment and the Class B licensee President Riverboat Casino-MO, Inc. (PRC-MO)
is unable to lawfully relocate the President casino or any other barge from its
present location and that it is impracticable for PRC-MO to repair the hull of
the President.
The Commission resolved that a Class B license is boat and site specific
and to replace a boat with another barge or vessel would require a new license.
