The Missouri Gaming Commission held their monthly meeting in Cape Girardeau Wednesday. KFVS12 covered the meeting.

In other action MGC General Counsel Ed Grewach and Assistant Deputy Director, Enforcement Terri Hutchison received service awards.

Ed Grewach received a 10 year certificate and Terri Hutchison received a 20 year certificate.

MGC WELCOMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

MGC Names Next Executive Director

April 29, 2021- Jefferson City- the Missouri Gaming Commission has named retired Judge Peggy Richardson as its eighth executive director, succeeding David Grothaus.

Peggy Richardson is a former judge in Moniteau County having served for over 22 years. Richardson was elected Associate Circuit Judge in Moniteau County in 1998, and re-elected every four years after until she became Circuit Judge for the 26th Judicial Circuit in 2016. She received her undergraduate degree from Central Missouri State University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri. She is a Morgan County native and a graduate of Tipton High School.

Peggy Richardson is the first woman in the executive director role in Missouri Gaming Commission history. Richardson begins her duties May 14, 2021.
